The Epilepsy Management Guide (EMG) is Seizure Support’s flagship knowledge resource, designed to empower Persons With Epilepsy (PWE), families, and caregivers with clear, practical strategies for seizure control and lifestyle management. Built from lived experience and medical insight, it covers triggers, auras, anti-seizure drugs, and daily routines that support long-term stability. The EMG is accessible, culturally relevant, and actionable—bridging the gap between clinical advice and real life. It is the foundation of Seizure Supports online mission to improve lives of PWE.

The Patient Portal is a free, secure online system designed for Persons With Epilepsy across the world. It empowers each individual to create a personalized Patient Profile—a clear, structured record of their seizure history, triggers, medications, and lifestyle. This profile becomes a powerful tool in clinical settings, helping PWEs communicate their condition with confidence and accuracy. By turning personal experience into a structured voice, the Patient Portal strengthens advocacy, improves doctor–patient understanding, and ensures every PWE is heard, respected, and supported.

Epilepsy is surrounded by stigma, myths, and misinformation, forcing many Persons With Epilepsy to live in silence, isolation, and shame. In Uganda, where most PWEs live in rural areas, superstition and ignorance make the problem even worse—seizures are often misunderstood as curses, madness, or punishment. The result is discrimination, rejection, and fear. We are committed to breaking these barriers through sensitization and education, replacing harmful beliefs with facts, fear with compassion, and rejection with dignity, so PWEs can live openly and with respect.
